A one-vehicle accident claims Kingston Mans life
A Kingston man was killed when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree on Friday night around 9:45pm. Tennessee Highway Patrol says that Austin Owens, 29, of Kingston, was killed when his 2012 Chrysler 300 heading North on Gallaher Road in the 1400 block when his vehicle, that was traveling at a high rate of speed, left the roadway, struck an earth embankment, causing the vehicle to go airborne and struck a tree. Trooper Paul Dubroc said that Owens was wearing a seat-belt. Drug and alcohol was not suspected as a cause, but tests are mandatory in any fatality accident.
