Roane County Man charged after leaving the scene of an accident on April 30th

Braden Adam Cofer 26 is now in custody after being picked up this morning just after 3:30 am at The Rocky Top Market, in Harriman, by Deputy Pressley.  The arrest comes after a warrant was issued after he fled from an accident, April 30th, where he left the scene after wrecking his car on Blackjack Road. That accident occurred when Cofer’s car, a 2013 Chevy Malibu, flipped and landed on its top — and his passenger, a female, identified as 28-year-old Skyla Burks from Rockwood was injured and had to be taken to the hospital.  Braden Cofer was officially charged with: 

1 40-35-311-CC Violation of Probation/Parole

2 55-10-103 Duty to give information and render aid

3 55-10-101-M Accidents resulting in death or personal injury

4 55-50-504 Driving on Revoked/Suspended License

5 55-10-106 Immediate Notice of Accident
